联邦法律要求制造商和进口商测试诸多消费产品以证明符合消费品 安全要求。
基于符合的测试结果，制造商或进口商必须通过书面或电子证书的 形式证明消费品符合适用的消费品安全要求。
?证书必须伴随产品或运输，并且必须向零售商，分销商以及政府提 供副本。

测试类型：
1.初始测试：产品第一次测试
2.材料改变测试：如果材料有变化进行测试
3.周期性测试：作为材料改变测试的补充，如果持续性生产，没有材料改变必须至少一年进行一次周期性测试。
4.部件测试：一般情况下测试成品，在某些特定情况下也可以测试所有的部件以证明最终产品的符合性。
5.Children’s Product Certificate儿童产品证书只能由认可第三方检测实验室进行检测，基于检测报告颁发的证书。
Federal law requires manufacturers and importers to test many consumer products to prove compliance with consumer product safety requirements.
Based on the results of the compliance test, the manufacturer or importer must certify that the consumer product meets the applicable consumer product safety requirements by means of a written or electronic certificate.
? the certificate must be accompanied by the product or shipment and copies must be provided to retailers, distributors and the government.
The consumer products mentioned here include children’s certificate (CPC certificate) and non children’s product (GCC certificate) (ordinary product).
